Lakeside in Lititz, PA during golden hour with two sweet souls pretty much checks all of the boxes when it comes to an ideal session for me. It had been so so long since I had a perfect golden hour session, because it had been cloudy what seemed like every single time I planned an evening session. But this night was perfect. It was everything Alyssa (and I) had dreamed of. I will be sharing these photos to my insta forever.
I met Alyssa at a bachelorette party for our mutual friend (which also just so happened to be lakeside). Her and her man Drew had just gotten engaged. It was so lovely getting to know her before photographing them, because I was truly able to get a vibe for what her ideal session would be like. I was imagining a rural and romantic golden hour, and this little piece of heaven in Lititz was just that. It was all so meant to be.
This lake is so special to me. This couple is so special to me. My job is so special to me. I always feel so honored to be asked to photograph people’s moments and memories — This one was extra special. I cannot wait for their Independence Day wedding next year!
